![]() Your library and playlists live on the left, and to the top on the left, you’ll see the Home, Browse, and Radio buttons. ![]() The main interface shows you a selection of things you’ve been listening to recently, or music Spotify has decided you’ll probably enjoy. You can also disable automatic updates and installs at the same time when editing, so you don't need to remove read/write permissions from the "Update" folder that you most likely did a couple of years or so ago. Premium or not, the app is very easy to use. If you add, or remove even a single bit of data from the exe, it won't launch. If you feel like that is a bit iffy from some random person on reddit, grab a hex editor and edit the main spotify.exe by changing all references of 1.1.55 and replacing them with a bit for bit match of 1.2.8. 1.1.55 was chosen due to it being the last one that officially supported the setting ui.experience_override="classic" within the prefs file. If anyone would like to test the exe, let me know. At 9.99/9.99 you don’t get any adverts in your Spotify player, far higher quality audio (320Kbps) and various member-only exclusives. As you can imagine, there’s a Premium option, too. I'm testing my hex edited version of 1.1.55 that is reporting as 1.2.8, with updates disabled. You can also follow friends, see their playlists and recommendations, get an overview of the latest releases, find podcasts and so much more. We've had a thread over at /r/spotify for a few weeks now.
